Coordination Fee (daily/per nanny)

• On-Site Wedding or Event

  • Friday Night - $90 per nanny (includes 1 family)

  • Saturday Event - $160 per nanny (includes 1 family)

    • A vendor meal will be arranged for each nanny

    • We will confirm meal details for the child(ren) in our nanny(s) care

• Sharing a nanny with another family? - $25 for each additional family

Placement Length:

Positions are long-term, with a 1-year minimum commitment.

Hours & Compensation:

• Guaranteed hours: 30+ hours per week

• Hourly wage:

  • Nanny - $28-35+ per hour

  • House Manager - $32-40+ per hour

• Hourly wages are based on the number of children, ages, experience, and responsibilities

• Hourly wages are paid directly to the nanny and are not included in the placement fee

Core Duties:

The nanny's primary responsibility is to provide attentive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for the children.

  • Creating and maintaining children's daily routines

  • Engaging children in age-appropriate activities and outings

  • Driving children to school, playdates, and activities

  • Preparing and serving meals and snacks

  • Supporting children's developmental and educational needs

  • Washing children's dishes and cleaning up after meals

  • Tidying and resetting children's spaces

  • Children's laundry

• House Manager

  • Managing household schedules, calendars, and appointments

  • Coordinating home repairs and maintenance

  • Scheduling and coordinating regular house cleaning

  • Ordering and restocking household supplies

  • Grocery shopping and running errands, such as dry cleaning and post office

  • Managing family vehicle maintenance and service appointments

  • Family meal preparation

  • Organizing pantries, refrigerators, and closets

  • Managing household organization and systems

  • Parent and children's laundry

  • Washing children's bedding

Nanny Qualifications:

Every candidate must meet the following requirements:

• 2+ years of professional childcare experience

• Experience with the age group they are applying for

• 3–5 positive childcare references

• Valid Infant & Child CPR & First-Aid certification

• Clean driving record

• Clean background check

Screening & Interview Process:

Every nanny is personally interviewed by Central Coast Nannies, and all childcare references are thoroughly checked.

Once a candidate meets the required criteria, they are introduced to the family for an in-person interview.

Placement Timeline:

The placement process typically takes 4–8 weeks.

Timelines may vary depending on candidate availability and overall fit for your family.

Benefit Expectations:

Families are expected to offer, at minimum:

• 2 weeks paid vacation

• 1 week paid sick time

• 6 paid holidays

• Paid birthday (recommended)

• Holiday bonus (recommended)

Payroll & Employment:

Nannies are hired as W-2 employees and are paid directly by their employer, the family.

Payroll may be handled through a service the family already uses or one recommended by Central Coast Nannies.

Placement Fees:

• $500 non-refundable fee to begin your nanny search

• $2,000–$3,500 sliding-scale placement fee, due after a successful trial day and a cleared background check

Hourly wages are separate from the placement fee and are paid directly to the nanny by the family.
