A warm and fun-loving family living on a 160-acre ranch in Paso Robles (Adelaida) is seeking a reliable, dedicated, and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their bright and joyful 3.5 year old daughter. This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys a collaborative family environment, and is interested in occasional travel opportunities.

Schedule & Hours:

• Guaranteed 30+ hours per week

• Occasional weekends for travel - advance notice will be given, but it’s about every other month

About the Family:

After welcoming their daughter in 2022, they realized that a big city wasn't the right place for their family. They relocated from Los Angeles to the Central Coast and this area is the perfect fit for them. They live on a 160 acre ranch, and their daughter loves having space to explore.

They describe their daughter as energetic, fearless, empathetic, and full of joy. She thrives in creative play and loves performing, painting, crafting, baking, and spending time in gymnastics, ballet, and horseback riding.

With no extended family nearby, reliability and consistency are especially important to this family. They’re seeking someone calm, caring, and confident in their ability to build a trusted bond and help create a nurturing, steady rhythm for their daughter.

Duties Include:

• Maintaining daily routines

• Snack and meal prep

• Light child-related housekeeping (dishes, tidying play and meal areas)

• Supporting emotional, social, and cognitive development

• Upholding the family’s very limited screen policy

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Nanny

• Positive and proactive individual

• Experienced with positive reinforcement

• Passionate about children, encouraging creativity, and creating a warm and positive atmosphere

Travel Requirements:

• 6 trips per year to Los Angeles (3–6 days each)

• 2 trips per year to New York (approximately 1 week each)

• All travel, accommodations, and meals provided

• Private room & downtime to explore each destination

Home Environment:

• Quiet, rural setting - exactly 25 minutes from Paso Robles and Templeton

• 160-acre ranch with:

• Barn, apple orchard, and blueberry patch

• In-ground trampoline, play structure, swimming pool & hot tub, and bocce court

• Indoor art and play area

• 2 outdoor porch cats & 1 indoor cat

• 1 very large, rare breed dog (Otterhound) currently training for Westminster 2026

• Supportive, respectful, and collaborative environment

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years nanny experience

• 3-5 professional references

• Current Infant and Child CPR & First Aid certification

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Minimum 1-year commitment (potential for 2 years)

• Must love the outdoors, creativity, and is able to travel occasionally

• Up-to-date MMR and TDAP vaccinations (highly preferred)

• NDA required

• Bonus points if you love peanut butter!

Compensation & Benefits:

• $30 per hour

• Guaranteed 30+ hours per week

• 3 weeks PTO | 6 sick days | paid holidays

• Work phone provided during working hours
