FINDING THE PERFECT FIT
The Central Coast Nannies team includes both nannies, former teachers, and college students, who are hardworking, compassionate and dedicated. We provide gold-standard service, on the Central Coast, to both families and nannies.
The owner of Central Coast Nannies will personally meet with each family, and personally interview each nanny, to ensure the perfect fit!
SERVICES (hourly wages not included):
Full-Time Nanny (30+ hours per week)
Placement Fee: $500 to start your search + $2,000-3,500 (sliding scale) upon placement and a cleared background check
Core Duties Include: creating and maintaining daily routines; engaging children in age-appropriate activities; driving children to and from school, playdates, and extracurricular activities as needed; outings to parks, libraries, museums, or other kid-friendly spaces; preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks; supporting developmental milestones (reading, motor skills, social skills); washing children’s dishes, cleaning up after meal prep, and resetting any kids spaces for that day
Additional Duties (May) Include: children’s laundry; rotating the children’s clothes and introducing the next size as needed
Nanny & House Manager (30+ hours per week)
Placement Fee: $500 to start your search + $2,000-3,500 (sliding scale) upon placement and a cleared background check

Additional Duties (May) Include: parent & children laundry; washing the children’s bedding; grocery shopping; running errands (dry cleaning, post office, store); taking the family car in for maintenance; manages household schedules, calendars, and appointments; manages house repairs; schedules regular house cleaning; ordering and restocking household supplies; coordinates family travel arrangements; family meal prep; organizing pantrys, fridges and kids closets
Event & Wedding Nanny
Off-Site (hotel, airbnb, vrbo) - $100 ($65 for an additional day)
On-Site (venue, site guest house) - $150 ($100 for an additional day)
3 hour minimum - rehearsal dinner / 6 hour minimum - event day

Date Night / Occasional Sitter (3 hour minimum)
Weekday (Mon-Thurs) - $30-$45
Weekend (Fri-Sun) - $45-$60

COMPREHENSIVE SCREENING
In any given week we are reviewing dozens of applications and select the best of the best to interview in person. Upon completion of a successful interview, our team begins speaking with each candidate’s references to ensure that not only were they excellent childcare providers but also outstanding employees who are honest, reliable, safety-conscious, and trustworthy. Please note, that the nanny search process, and placement, could take anywhere from 6 - 8+ weeks.
THOROUGH BACKGROUND CHECK
When choosing a childcare provider, safety is the #1 concern for every parent, as well as us at Central Coast Nannies. It is California law that all childcare providers placed by nanny agencies must be registered with TrustLine upon hire. TrustLine is the only background check authorized by state law to use three databases which include fingerprint records from the California Department of Justice’s Criminal History System, the Child Abuse Central Index of California, and fingerprint records of the FBI Criminal History System. Our Nannies must check all the boxes before being part of the Central Coast Nannies team.
